Registration Requirements

In order to bid on-site or online at any of our auctions you must register for that particular auction to obtain a bidding number. Winning bids are assigned to the relevant bidder number.

Please read the following information carefully. Registration opens online when an auction is advertised, on-site registration normally opens 2 days prior to the auction.

Registration requires the bidder to agree to Euro Auctions Buyer Terms and Conditions. Detailed below:

By registering online or completing the registration form on-site you automatically agree to be bound by these Buyer Terms and Conditions.

New Buyer

A new buyer is a customer or company that has not purchased from Euro Auctions in the last 2 years. This includes bidders who have previously left a deposit with Euro Auctions but did not purchase.

In order to bid all new buyers are required to pay a deposit with a minimum deposit of £/€/$ 1,000. The deposit paid dictates the maximum spend allowed for example:

  • £1,000 deposit equals a £10,000 credit limit
  • £5,000 deposit equals a £25,000 credit limit
  • £10,000 deposit equals a £50,000 credit limit

When bidding on-site, all new buyers will also be asked to fill out a registration form and provide the following:

1. Photographic Identification – at least 1 form (i.e. Driver’s License/Passport/National ID Card).

2. Letter of Authorisation - from Company Director on headed paper if bidding on behalf of a company.

3. Company VAT Number if applicable.

(Please note deposits will be returned the following days to those customers who have been unsuccessful in their bids. Deposits are returned in the same method they are paid.)

Regular Buyer

A regular buyer is a customer or company that has purchased from Euro Auctions within the last 2-year period.

A deposit may be required from a regular buyer in the following circumstances:

  • Where a balance remains outstanding from previous auctions
  • Where the projected spend is excessive

In order to register to bid on-site, all regular buyers will also be asked to fill out a registration form and provide the following:

1. Photographic Identification – at least 1 form (i.e. Driver’s License/Passport/National ID Card).

2. Letter of Authorisation - from Company Director on headed paper if bidding on behalf of a company.

3. Company VAT Number if applicable.

(Please contact the Administration Department in advance of the auction date to ascertain if a deposit is required)
