IT Business Systems Analyst

Job Description

Based at its headquarters in Dromore, Co. Tyrone; the IT Department provides support for the global Euro Auctions team and its customers. Although based at headquarters, IT staff also travel to Euro Auction sites around the world to provide IT support for the auctions.

Euro Auctions is seeking a highly talented individual to join the company's IT department as Business Systems Support who will analyse our current and future Business System needs.

The Job

  • Analyse current and future Business IT needs and interpret findings.
  • Assist with overall administration and delivery for group software systems inclusive of Auction Management/Online/Financial/CRM systems.
  • Provide support for Management Information systems.
  • Carry out regular assessments of company technology to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new software and system solutions.
  • Provide Management with timely, accurate information regularly.
  • Proactively make improvements, solve problems, or take corrective action when issues arise.
  • Analyse and Integrate all business systems providing a unified approach.
  • Maintain responsibility for documentation requirements or procedures, and ensure that they are completed and stored appropriately.
  • Communicate to resolve conflicts and negotiate changes in the systems and processes.
  • Facilitate communication and negotiation between IT team & company including management.

The Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • A 3rd Level Degree in IT or Business IT related discipline or studying toward the same.
  • Ideally experience in similar role with evidence of project work.
  • Working knowledge of WAN/LAN and server systems would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of various technology applications and systems including Dynamics, CRM, MS365, Networks and Servers.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Access.
  • Experience of SQL programming, API’s, FTP Technologies and Coding would also be desirable.
  • Commercially aware with a solid understanding of business practices.
  • Dynamic individual with the ability to modify specification in a fluid and ever changing environment.
  • Highly organized and detail orientated with the ability to listen to and interpret business needs and future capacity.
  • Results focused with innate ability to work on own initiative to ensure completion of the project within the required timescales.
