Yard Supervisor - Zaragoza - Permanent - Full Time

Euro Auctions is a world leading auctioneer of industrial, plant, construction & agricultural equipment. With sites in UK, Germany, Spain, Australia, USA and Abu Dhabi, Euro Auctions conducts 55+ auctions selling thousands of Lots every year.

We are seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to join the team in Zaragoza, Spain. This role will assist with the management of the yard operations to ensure the smooth running of the full auction process.

The Job

• Assist with the full preparation of the auction.
• Safe coordination and control of all loading and unloading activities.
• Ensure all auction stock is suitably prepared for sale, photographed and displayed on the company website.
• Manage and coordinate the workloads of all telehandler/forklift drivers.

The Person

This role requires an organised individual with excellent problem solving and task management skills. Loading / unloading experience and heavy machinery mechanic skills are essential.

Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to work both indoors and outdoors year-round and be physically fit to climb on and off large equipment.

The Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience unloading and loading.
• Experience/interest in heavy plant machinery and good knowledge of the different categories.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Be able to prioritise, multitask and use initiative.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English is essential.
