Deposits

You may be required to pay a deposit to bid on-site or online. All new buyers are required to pay a deposit. A new buyer is a customer or company that has not purchased from Euro Auctions in the last 2 years. This includes bidders who have previously left a deposit with Euro Auctions but did not purchase.

A minimum deposit of £/€/$ 1,000 is required which allows a credit limit of £/€/$ 10,000.

• £1,000 deposit equals a £5,000 credit limit
• £2,000 deposit equals a £10,000 credit limit
• £5,000 deposit equals a £25,000 credit limit
• £10,000 deposit equals a £50,000 credit limit

Deposits must be received in cleared funds via any of the following methods:

• Online Payment
• Cash – acceptable on auction day - subject to Money Laundering Regulations (currencies accepted: Sterling, Euro, Australian Dollars, US Dollars, Dirham)
• Personal Debit Card – acceptable on auction day (no transaction fee)
• Bank Transfer – must be received before a bidder number can be assigned. Please see bank details below.

Invoices

Payment must be made within 7 days of the auction.

Commission VAT is applicable to all buyers. Please see full Buyers Terms and Conditions for exemptions on paying VAT on the Hammer price.

The following are accepted methods of payment:

• Online Payment
• Cash – subject to Money Laundering Regulations
• Cheque – subject to clearing, please make it payable to Euro Auction (UK) Ltd.
• Banker’s Draft – made payable to Euro Auctions
• Bank Transfer – If paying by bank transfer please use the following accounts, please indicate, that as the remitter you are paying all bank fees.
