Spray Painter Assistant - NI

Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, and US. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.

Key Activities:

• Stripping machines.
• Preparation of stock pre-auction.
• Ensure vehicles and machinery are refinished to a high standard and fit for sale.
• Undercoats and spraying.
• Rebuilding machines including re-connection of wires and hydraulics.

The Person:

We're looking for someone who knows their way around spray painting, pays attention to detail, keeps safety top of mind, and can work well with the team.

The Requirements

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in spraying with 1PK and 2PK paint
• Previous experience in body shop repairs.
• Experience with panel beating and preparation including masking.
• Good working knowledge of water based refinishing systems.
• Ability to take instruction as well as work on own initiative and follow Health & Safety legislation.
• Prior experience operating and knowledge of all types of heavy equipment.
• Strong English skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• Relevant qualification in body shop paint procedures.
